Youth Clubs
Variety Club believes that a key way of helping disadvantaged youngsters develop and access opportunities is through supporting the youth clubs that can reach them. These facilities give children the activities and interests which will keep them from resorting to crime, anti-social behaviour and drugs in our increasingly difficult society. In line with the Government's ‘Children's Plan' we believe that the development of these communities for young people will start them on the right track in their formative years.
The Variety Club believes disadvantage should never get in the way of living every day to its fullest and achieving hopes and ambitions. We work hard to help all the children and young people we support feel empowered and liberated to be who they want to be - to do what they want to do. Our work through youth groups and community projects helps open up endless possibilities to so many children who would otherwise never have access to opportunities to develop their skills and their social network.
