These stories are those individual children and families who have come to the Variety Club asking for help with a specific need. Variety aim always to be approachable, friendly and understanding - we are well known for providing the small change which makes the big difference in children and young people's lives.
Variety Club is fully aware of the terrible toll both financially and mentally that caring for a sick or disabled child can have on a carer and family. We seek in our own small way to do all we can to make life a little easier for families in difficulty by providing the individual, vital daily items that often go unconsidered and yet add up to many thousands of pounds every year - bath mats, toilet seats, bath hoists, mobility equipment, plastic sheets, feeding tubes, car seats etc..
As well as donating to individuals and their families, Variety Club also funds projects for larger groups. If you are an organisation which cares for sick, disabled or disadvantaged children and young people then please feel free to get in touch.
